Women's Tennis Rolls Over West Chester

WILLIAMSPORT--The Bloomsburg University women's tennis team, ranked 32nd in the country, defeated West Chester University on Monday by a 9-0 score in a match played at the West Branch Racquet Club in Williamsport.

The Huskies won all three doubles matches by identical 8-3 scores, then easily won all six singles matches. Junior Tracy Nissenbaum (Allentown/William Allen), at number five singles, rolled to an easy 6-0, 6-0 win. Also, freshmen Katie Hasyn (Lansdale/North Penn) and Allison Carney (Muncy/Muncy) both won by 6-0, 6-1 scores.

Bloomsburg, 16-1, will play Bucknell on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.
